Usability/User Experience Goals
Usability Goals
Effectiveness:
The user should get accurate and relevent results for their search queries. If there are no appropriate results, the website will search with loosened constraints until a basic search is performed. If still no results, the website will inform the user that no results matched his query.
Efficiency:
As the people using the site are hungry people looking for something to eat, fast query response times are essential. A query should take no more than 5 seconds.
Learnability:
The website should be pretty straightforward when trying to find a restaurant. It's aimed at anyone including those with and without computer experience.
Memorability:
The website should be easy for frequent users to remember how to use to find their desired meals or restaurants.
User Experience Goals
Satisfying:
The main purpose of JWYO is to help people to find the restaurant with their desired meals. Finding exactly what you wanted is a very satisfying feeling. As the name promises "Just What You Ordered", delivering on that promise is of the utmost importance.
Helpful:
If the website is not helpful, it has no reason to exist, and nobody will visit it. Therefore it must be useful, or it will perish.
Enjoyable:
The website should be enjoyable to use, as the user should want to visit the website frequently. If it is irritating or frustrating to get the results the user wants, the likelihood of developing a large base of regular users is slim.
